Mrs. Linda Faye Wright Malone
03/29/1954 - 08/02/2026
In loving memory of
Mrs. Linda Faye Wright Malone
March 29,1954 – August 2, 2026
Mrs. Linda Wright Malone, age 72, of South Hill, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2026. Linda was born on March 29, 1954 at her childhood home in Blackridge, VA to Herbert and Ola Mae Wright. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Willie Franklin Malone, and her sister, Ann Guerrant. Linda worked in the office of Leggett Department Store of South Hill until they closed in 1992 and then worked in the office of Dr. Shelton for several years until she became a stay-at- home wife and mother. She attended La Crosse Baptist Church and became a member there in 2025. Linda could make a friend anywhere. She loved to talk about what was going on in her life, her family, and her grandchildren. She found enjoyment in life's simple pleasures, especially having her hair done and going out to eat. She looked forward to holiday gatherings with her family, where she could spend time with family and share meals together. She will be remembered with love by those who knew her. Linda is survived by her son, Paul, (Stacey), three grandchildren, Hayli Nutter (Tyler), Kamryn Malone, and Ryker Malone, a brother, Kenneth Wright (Millie) and two sisters, Janice Curtis and Edith Turner, one niece and three nephews. The family will have a private service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to:

Remembering Linda
My prayers go out to your son, sisters, brother, family and friends. I remember
what a sweet person Linda was when
we worked at Leggett’s years ago. She
was always kind and helpful to us when
we had questions . She always helped
us. I believe she was such an asset to
the office. The last time I saw her was
at my home church Sanford Memorial.
She looked so radiant and beautiful that
Day. Praise and Glory to GOD that
thorough His son Jesus Christ we have
a life with Him in Heaven. Praises for
her Faith.
Dear Paul,
We send heartfelt condolences and prayers to you and your family. We know how you loved and cared for your Mom. She was blessed to have you and we are sure you were her greatest joy in life. May cherished memories of her bring you peace and comfort.
I will miss her friendship. We kept in touch on the computer & at Church on Sunday. We always talked about going out to eat & a spa day. Going out to eat ,okay, but I am not a spa day person. She loved getting her hair done, she said it made her feel better. Did not go out to eat, that is a regret.
Paul and family. I send my deepest sympathies for the loss of your mother. Linda was a wonderful person.
My prayers are with the family
Linda was such a fun pleasant person to be around ,I know she will definitely be missed
