Gwendolyn Renee Davis, age 58, of Brodnax, died on Monday April 3, 2023. Gwendolyn is survived by her four children: James A. Davis, Sr. of Woodbridge, VA, Lisa M. Edmonds of Virginia Beach, VA, Minnie Nicole Risher of Colorado Springs, CO and Steven Ryan Edmonds of La Crosse, VA; her mother, Frances Anne Aleman of Brodnax; her four siblings: Yolanda Newton of Chester, VA, Monte Aleman of La Crosse, VA, Marshall Aleman of Roxboro, NC and Timothy Aleman of La Crosse, VA; her seven grandchildren: Allissa York, James A. Davis, Jr., Azavieon Pettus, Caden Pettus, Julian Risher, Nevaeh Risher and Sophia Risher and her great-granddaughter, Kashae Belle. A Celebration of Gwendolyn’s life will be held at a later date.
