Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory Statement on COVAD-19 (corona virus) Funeral Restrictions (UPDATED)

04/16/2020 - 05/08/2020

Obituary:

Due to Governor Northam's executive order fifty-three 2020, no more than ten people are allowed to be present for any funeral, graveside or memorial service. At this time when the service is a graveside service any family and friends not included in the ten people may be present as long as they do not leave their vehicles. These restrictions will be in place until May 8, 2020 unless the Governor decides to extend them. This is emotionally upsetting to all involved but a necessary step to try to stop the spread of this horrible virus. The health and safety of those families who entrust us to care for their loved ones is so important to us. Even with these temporary restrictions, family and friends absolutely may come to the funeral home to spend time with their loved ones as long as no more than ten people are present at any one time. Everyone stay safe, practice social distancing and wash your hands frequently. These trying times hopefully will be over very soon. We wish to thank all of the families and friends of our area for their cooperation and understanding of these restrictions we are required to implement.
