Mr. Jimmy Darrell Ratcliff

Mr. Jimmy Darrell Ratcliff, 79 years old, of Boydton Virginia, passed away July 29, 2020, after fighting a long illness. He was a retired corrections officer for the Virginia Department of Corrections and an 82nd Airborne Army Veteran. He was born in 1941 to Nellie and Dave Ratcliff, in West Virginia. Jimmy is survived by his brother Robert Ratcliff, sisters Geraldine Kegley, and Joann Linder, his children Teresa Menard, Todd Ratcliff, David Ratcliff, Adele Bayne and Elizabeth Albro, his grandchildren Candi Martin, Chad Ratcliff, Tabatha Ratcliff, Allen Ratcliff, Danielle Weymouth, James Menard, and Emily Hernandez, Alicia Albro great grandchildren Skyler Martin, Hailie Martin, Zoey Ratcliff, Zane Ratcliff, Marshall Bayne, Adelynn Bayne, and Leighton Weymouth. He was predeceased by Nellie and Dave Ratcliff, Carl Ratcliff, and Bill Ratcliff. A private graveside service was held at Kingswood United Methodist Church Cemetery in Bracey, VA.
