Mrs. Jean Long Martin, age 86, of South Hill, died on Thursday August 19, 2021. She was a homemaker and the widow of George Edward Martin. Mrs. Martin is survived by her son, John Martin and his wife Joyce of Chase City; her daughter, Betty Delisle of Tennessee and her two grandchildren: Kevin Burton and Kelly Burton. While I didn’t know Mrs. Martin, I do know her daughter and grandson very well. My heart is saddened by the loss and wish peace and love upon the family during this difficult time.

Just waved at her through the window as I drove thru for the past two years because of the pandemic. Going to miss her smile, but she will be with her soul mate, George. Prayers and thoughts are with the family.
