Sandra Reamey "Tody" Seamans

Mrs. Sandra Reamey “Tody” Seamans, age 67 of South Hill, died Sunday, August 29, 2021 in Johnston-Willis Hospital, Richmond. She was a former insurance agent and the widow of Michael Bedford Seamans.
“Tody” is survived by two daughters; Brandi S. Grant (Wayne) of South Hill and Katie S. Hubbard (J.T.) of Midlothian, her parents Coley and Mary Ellen Reamey of South Hill, a sister Sylvia Jones (Lanney) of Amelia Courthouse, two grandchildren ; Remington Hubbard of Midlothian and Madison Paige Evans of South Hill, one great grandchild Ryker Lane Arthur of South Hill, step granddaughter Ashley Gayle Grant and step great Grandson Aiden Liam Grant both of Raleigh, N.C, two nieces Hollie Jones (Chris) their son Carson and daughter Ashlie all of Midlothian and Jayme Shears and daughter Lola of Powhatan.
A graveside funeral service will be conducted Thursday, September 2, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. in La Crosse Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the South Hill Volunteer Fire Department, 114 N. Brunswick Ave., South Hill, Va. 23970. Online condolences may be made through our website, www.crowderhitecrews.com. Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the Seamans family.

I am saddened to hear of the loss of Miss Sandra. She was truly a blessing to me for so many years. May she rest in heavenly peace.
Condolences
I feel so fortunate to have the opportunity to be apart of Tody’s family, and I will always keep her memory close to my heart, Tody was a kind, loving and generous person who would stand up to you or for you no matter the cost, She was a devoted wife and a loving mother and grandmother and much more. She will be sourly missed by everyone who knew her,
I am so sorry to see this. Tody and I went through school together and we graduated together. I am really sorry and my thoughts and prayers are with you, Tody will be missed by alot of people.

Reamey is one of my family names. I am related to Reameys in South Hill, Chase City and Mecklenburg ( plus other areas).
Many of my family members are buried in the same cemetery.

Just like family
Katie / Brandi & family,
We are deeply saddened by the loss of Sandra. We loved her like our own mother/grandmother. She was a wonderful person with a heart of gold. We will forever cherish the memories we made with her. We dont understand why God needed her right now, but I know it was for something special. She loved to see her family happy and enjoyed being with her ‘babies’, aka all of us…We are forever grateful to be a part of your family. Love the Knights!
I’m so sorry to see this. It doesn’t seem that long ago that we played together at her Grandmas, Mrs. Illa Baisey. Me, Tody, Sylvia and Betsy Simmons.
It was just yesterday.
