Jodi Brigman Gibson

Mrs Jodi Brigman Gibson, age 57 of Bracey, died Friday, October 29, 2021 in VCU/Community Memorial Hospital. She was a homemaker.
Jodi is survived by her husband of thirty-six years Gary Samuel “Sam” Gibson, three daughters; Amanda K Gibson (Wayne) of Alberta, Sammie J. Gibson (Scott) of Boydton and Lexus M. Gibson (Jeremiah) of Bracey, three sons; Justin W. Brigman (Angela) of Youngsville, N.C., Marshall N. Gibson (Sabrina) Boydton and Joshua L. Gibson (Monique) of Bracey, her mother Gloria D. Brigman of Baskerville , a brother Chris L. Brigman also of Baskerville and thirteen grandchildren. She was predeceased by her biological father Ralph Mills and father Chris Brigman.
A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. in Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home with interment in Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery, Baskerville. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made through our website, www.crowderhitecrews.com. Seeing this obituary this morning has hurt my heart in so many ways. Jodi was such a special person. Always caring about and loving others. We were so very young when our paths crossed for the first time. I will hang on to the fond memories I have of growing up together. Sam, all the children, Gloria – know that I am praying for you without ceasing as you begin coping with the loss. Keep looking up in hope! We know our goodbyes are but a “see you later!” I look forward to seeing you again when I step into eternity!
