Jeffrey James Evans

Mr. Jeffrey James Evans, age 52 of South Hill, died Wednesday, December 29, 2021 in VCU/Community Memorial Hospital. He was the owner/operator of Evans Automotive and Towing in Brodnax. Jeff is survived by his wife of seventeen years Vicky Spake Evans, two daughters; Savannah Evans and Amanda Evans both of Gasburg, a son Jeffrey Taylor Evans (Kayla) of Brodnax, his mother Margaret Nadine Morris Evans of Brodnax, a brother Michael Evans (Kellie) of Norlina, N.C. four grandchildren; Ava Comly, Adalynn Writtenberry, Amran Chittum and Aston Evans, a step-daughter Jenny Whittemore (Chris) of South Hill and a step-son Jeffrey Melton and wife Dana, step-grandchildren; Tucker Warren, Cooper Warren, Charlie Whittemore, Mason Whittemore, Madison Howle (Hunter), Chase Truong and Cassitie Truong.
He was predeceased by his father James Vernon Evans.
A Memorial service will be conducted Sunday, January 2, 2022 in Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home at 5:00 P.M. with a visitation starting at 4:00 P.M.
