    Dear Family,

Nancy and I were deeply saddened to learn of Willie’s death by reading the beautiful tribute in the Washington Post. We remember Willie and Meredith fondly from Graham Road days. Willie was always beautifully turned out with a bright smile and a kind word for everyone. Some years ago we visited their retirement home in Peach Tree City, Georgia. They proudly showed us around their beautful home, served us a delicious dinner, and shared iced tea with us on the front porch. Please accept our sincere sympathy.
