Mr. Morris E. "Sed" Ezell

Morris E. “Sed” Ezell, age 82, of Pitts, GA, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2022, at his residence. He was a carpenter, a veteran of the U.S. Army, and attended the Pitts Church of God. Mr. Ezell was born September 1, 1939, in La Crosse, Virginia, to the late Morris Elwood Ezell and Bertha Sculthorp zell. Survivors include his wife, Rosella M. Ezell; his son, William T. Ezell; his daughters, Jolena Mathis, and Lynn Wright; his brother, William Edward Ezell (Barbara), and Thomas Ezell (Liz); his sisters, Janet Baker, and Debbie Williams (Larry); his step-children, Craig Netzer, and Christa Zachary (Austin); several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Monday, May 9th, at the Frazier & Son Funeral Home, 1016 Fourth Ave., Rochelle, GA. Interment will be in the Oakwood Cemetery, South Hill, Virginia on Wednesday May 11th at 11:00 A.M. Frazier & Son Funeral and Cremation Services of Rochelle, GA and Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home is serving the Ezell family. I met Sed in Sacramento California when I was probably just 10 years old if not less. Although Sed and I were probably unlikely friends being separated by 47 year age gap, our love of fishing and the outdoors helped us become good friends. I spent many days and nights in Seds garage playing with fishing tackle and talking about fishing trips we’d go on someday. I have nothing but fond memories of Sed and was very sad to hear of his passing. Until we meet again old friend. My deepest condolences to all of Seds family.
I met Sed in early 70’s when we both were working at Homecraft Corp. in South Hill Va. We had a lot of fun at work and while fishing. So sorry to hear of his passing and may God give his blessings and the comfort that only He can give to Sed’s family. I know he will be missed.

Prayers and hugs for the family. Sed was a cousin who no matter when he visited he was a joy and always full of himself! He will be missed.
Many thoughts and prayers for comfort to each of the loved ones of Sed, at a very difficult time. I remember his sense of humor, even though for a brief time in the 1960s. Let your cherished memories be a salve to your hearts. Sending my condolences and affection to each of you.
