Janice Thomas Kirby

Janice Thomas Kirby, age 64, of Brodnax, died on Tuesday May 17, 2022 in her home. She was a retired Unit Secretary for the Hundley Center in South Hill. She is survived by her son Dennis S. Kirby and his wife Britney of Lakeland, Florida; her four sisters: Rachel Swisher of Richmond, Betty Winstead of South Hill, Joyce Tharpe of South Hill and Genelle Winstead of La Crosse; her four grandchildren: Emersen, Adelyn, Lucas and Andrew. She was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Mary Thomas; step-father, Calvin Stables and her sister, Connie Clary. A graveside service will be conducted on Saturday May 21st at 11:00 A.M. in Canaan Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:00 until 7:30 in Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory. Online condolences may be made through our website, www.crowderhitecrews.com. Yes, she will be truly miss. She had such a beautiful heart and soul. I could talk and relate to her. Dennis and Brittany my condolences to you both. She loved her grand babies 💕. I also worked at the Hundley Center with her. Another Angel 😇 has made it to heaven.
I am so very sorry for the loss of Janice Kirby. I worked with Janice for many years at the hospital. I thought a lot of Janice. I will surely miss her. My thoughts are with her family.

I am very sadden to her about Janice .We worked together for many years . We laughed and fussed about a lot of crazy things and scratched our heads about stuff we couldn’t quite pin down . I send my condolences and prayers to the family.
