I will continue to hold Dawn & all of you in my prayers throughout the coming weeks & months.

Reading his obituary I could see so many of the wonderful qualities of his parents reflected in the life of Travis and the messages about him left on this tribute site. May the treasured memories along with the love of friends and family help you through the days ahead. Losing someone so dear to you so very unexpectedly is extremely traumatic. Be gentle with yourselves & each other. You will still hear his voice and see Travis in your dreams and may that bring some comfort to your hearts. Love never dies..,

“It’s possible to go on, no matter how impossible it seems, and that in time, the grief… lessens. It may not go away completely, but after a while it’s not so overwhelming.” — Nicholas Sparks

  21. Profound Grief

“The reality is that you will grieve forever. You will not ‘get over’ the loss of a loved one; you will learn to live with it. You will heal and you will rebuild yourself around the loss you have suffered. You will be whole again, but you will never be the same. Nor should you be the same nor would you want to.”
    Elizabeth Kubler-Ross
