Otis Keith "Broman" Carroll

Obituary:

Mr. Otis Keith “Broman” Carroll, age 63, of South Hill and formerly of Brodnax, passed away Monday, December 26, 2022. Otis is survived by his daughter, Terri Nicole Carroll of Pikeville, NC; his sisters Vicky Carroll of South Hill and Sophie Carroll (Chris) also of South Hill; his nephews, Jerry Mulchi (Melaine) of Lacrosse and Thomas Carroll (Tamara) of Chicago, Illinois; his nieces, Kathreen Carroll (Paul) of Pasadena, Texas and Lisa Mulchi of La Crosse, his great niece Persephone Carroll of Chicago, Illinios; and his great nephew D’Angelo Diaz of Pasadena, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father Otis Grady Carroll; his mother Joanne Bennett Carroll: and a sister, Ann Campbell. “Broman” was well known, and blessed with his gift of talking, and his three special habits were eating, hunting, and fishing, and loved working in the logging and pulpwood industry. A graveside funeral service will be conducted on Friday, December 30th at 2:00pm at the Carroll Family Cemetery in Brodnax. The family suggest memorial contributions to be made in his name to the Brodnax Volunteer Fire Department 724 Piney Pond Rd., Brodnax, VA. 23920.   2. He was my uncle more like a big brother when
    I was a little boy every where uncle keith went i
    Went i jump up in his truck and ride with him every
    Where he went i was his shadow up until i was like 12
    Or 13 we went fishing togather when i got older we argued
    And fight like all family do we had our diffrences but at the
    End of the day i was his little buddy he had a heart of gold
    Would do anything for anyone he loved wrestling and loved
    To talk he was around me my whole life he saw me grow up
    We worked togather and he lived with me he was uncle
    Keith he will be missed i sure will miss him the most of all
    Go fly high with grandma and grandpa.

    He was my best friend growing up we went fishing all the time and to see how many fish we could catch we did everything out door together. I wouldn’t let him go to work most of the time he had to take me with him I didn’t want him to leave me . But I know I made him proud of me I love you daddy never forget my heart is so broken but he’s in a better place give heaven some hell💔

    I love you dad thank you got being the best dad you can be too me my hole life you were my best friend when I was little we went fishing all the time and see how could catch the most fish and it was always me . I would not let you go work sometime without me you would have to take me with you I miss you so much but give heaven so hell I love you daddy ❤️
