Mrs. Mary Yeatts Hite

Mrs. Mary Yeatts Hite, age 93, of South Hill, died on Tuesday, March 14, 2023. She was a retired employee of Virginia Quilting Corporation and the widow of Alger Samuel Hite. Mrs. Hite is survived by her four daughters: Kathy Lynn and her husband Jimmy of South Hill, Linda Jones Meadows of South Hill, Nancy Mooney and her husband Cliff of Baskerville and Anita Starke Gardner and her husband Jim of Red Lawn; her nine grandchildren: Ed Lynn of Bracey, Hunter Lynn of South Hill, Bradley Wynn of South Hill, Eddie Jones and his wife Wendy of Mechanicville, Tina McWhiter and her husband Ritchie of Brunington, Patricia Anderson and her husband Chris of Mechanicsville, Kimberly Bradshaw and her husband Jim of Roanoke, Andy Mooney and his wife Dayle of Tallahasse, Florida and Chris Starke and his wife Crystal of Boydton; her eleven great-grandchildren: Amber Jones of Richmond, Jaimee Jones of Mechanicsville, Amanda Rutledge of Henrico, Chesnea Anderson of Mechanicsville, McKenna Anderson of Mechanisville, Kristen Hogue and her husband Josh of Richmond Hills, Georgia, Jason Bradshaw of Christiansburg, Alex Mooney of Tallahasse, Florida, Ava Starke of Boydton, Emily “Emi” Starke of Boydton and Owen Starke of Boydton and her great-great grandson, Asher Gomez of Virginia Beach. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday March 18th at 11:00 A.M. in New Hope Baptist Church, South Hill, VA. The family will receive friends following the service in the church social hall. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Mrs. Hite’s name may be made to the New Hope Baptist Church Building Fund at P.O.
