Mrs. Ruby Estelle Daniel Gill

Mrs. Ruby Daniel Gill, age 98, of South Hill , died Monday August 7, 2023. She was a seamtress for the former La Crosse Sportswear. Ruby is survived by her two daughters, Audrey G. Conner of South Hill and Connie G. Hammick of Lawrenceville; a son, Johnny Gill (Diane) of Chase City; her two sisters, and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, John Pettus Gill and a son, Michael Gill. Services will be private and will be conducted by Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory . Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the Gill family.

Audrey, Connie and Johnny my condolences go out to y’all. Didn’t realize your mom and my dad were about the same age. They both had a wonderful life and fun memories of Ruby.

Ruby was a very sweet Lady who worked with my Mom Helen Howerton.
