  1. Forever friend

I met Jackie 35 years ago when we started out as travel nurses. I just first found today, when I couldn’t get a hold of her to sing Happy Birthday of her death. My heart stopped. A woman so full of life and love and that laughter to die in such a mean way. She brought so much love and happiness into my life. My heart broke today. I want her family to know I will miss your mother very, very much. Love Chrissy

  2. Remembering Jackie

I worked with Jackie a number of years ago at the South Hill Pavilion, after I moved back to this area when my father got sick. Jackie was a wonderful person and nurse who cared deeply about the patients she worked with. She was a natural leader in stressful situations. She had a profound sense of right and wrong. My memories of working with Jackie are very fond and she is missed. My deepest condolences to her family and many friends. This came as a huge shock for all of us. Rest in peace, Jackie.

  3. Friend

I am still shocked and saddened by Jackie’s passing so suddenly. Jackie became my Psych Nursing Mentor when I transferred to the Pavilion at CMH and again when I joined Nursing Leadership. She shared her compassion, experience, wisdom, and joy in the Lord freely with all she met. Until we meet again, I will deeply miss you my dear friend.

  5. Trusting God's Plan

I trust God’s plan for my life, and I know I must trust His plan for Jackie’s life. Jackie was full of life, love, service to others in more ways than can be counted. I will miss her as long as I live. I know she lives now in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I send my heartfelt prayers and deepest sympathy to her loving children and friends. I will always remember Jackie as a sweet, beautiful lady with a strong, clear, lovely voice singing how much she loves the Lord, her family, her community, and her country. I am eternally grateful to have been blessed with her friendship.

  10. Psych mental health NP

It was with shock and great sadness that I learned Jackie had been suddenly taken from us. We worked closely together at the Pavilion for several years and I was aware of the wonderful work she also did through the Shepherd’s Inn. She was always a woman of big ideas, who knew how to implement them for the greater good of God’s calling in her life. Your work is now done, good and faithful servant. Rest in the arms of Jesus…until we meet again. Kathy Ruhl PMHNP -BC

  13. I like others are extremely sad, hurt and bewildered.
But I am Happy in knowing that she KNEW Jesus and has had a wonderful Homecoming. Until we meet again my sweet friend. I have memories in my ❤️.

  14. Mrs.

I had the pleasure of working with Jackie at cMH and in the Hundley Center. She was kind, enthusiastic, energetic, and had a contagious joy. I’m so sorry to hear of her death. May her family and friends be comforted by great memories and have peace.

  15. I’m really at a loss for words. It hurts my heart knowing Jackie is gone from our presence. She had helped many, many people in her lifetime as a Nurse, neighbor and friend. And her desire to provide for strangers was evident when she opened The Shepherd’s Inn. This community has lost a True Champion in helping others! My condolences to the Family.
