Douglas Alan Shepherd

Mr. Douglas Alan Shepherd, age 63, of Boydton, Va., died Sunday, August 11, 2024 at VCU/CMH Hospital. Mr. Shepherd was a maintenance technician for VCU/CMH Hospital. Doug is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Bernice Evans Shepherd; a brother Wilson Chandler (Linda) of Richmond, his goddaughter, Debbie Carter of Chase City; his brother in laws, Dennis Evans of Boydton and and David Evans (Linda) of Charlotte, NC, a special friend, Garland Carter of Chase City and several nieces and nephews as well as many great nieces and great nephews. A memorial service will take place Saturday, August 17, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Bethel Baptist Church, 10228 Buggs Island Rd, Baskerville, Va. 23915.
