Pamela Kay Darden, 82 of South Hill, formerly of Lawrenceville, VA, passed away September 20, 2026. She was predeceased by her parents, Harry Allen Darden and Ruth Louise Darden; and her sister, Betty Darden Cogbill. She is survived by two nieces, Kimberly Burton and Melisa Cogbill; one nephew, James L. Cogbill, Jr.; great nephews and niece, Chris Parker, Dylan Burton, Brandon Davis and Monica Cheyenne Davis (Tyler); great-great nephews and niece, Aiden Davis, Alarik Davis and Casey Mayton. Kay was retired from Federal Government employment as “Chief of Legislative Liaison”, Washington, D.C. She enjoyed traveling all over the world and was very active at Bethany Baptist Church and WOM; she additionally went on many mission trips to Honduras and Africa. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, September 24, 2026 at Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery, Baskerville, VA.
