Mr. Arnold Gordon Tucker

Mr. Arnold Gordon Tucker, age 93, of South Hill, passed away on Saturday June 13, 2026. He was a retired employee of Parker Oil, a life long member of Bethany Baptist Church in Baskerville. He also was a lifetime member of American Legion Post 79, the VFW Post 7156 and a Korean War Army Veteran. Mr. Tucker was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Evans Tucker and is survived by his son, Gary Tucker and his wife Beverly of Bracy; his two daughters: Debbie T. Moore of South Hill and Angie T. Myers and her husband Jeff of Keeling; his eight grandchildren: Faith Moore, Tiffany Tucker, Matthew Moore, Kaitlyn Biggs, Madison Tucker, Skylar Ferguson, Tucker Ferguson and Kassidy Myers; his six great-grandchildren: Rylee Biggs, Beau Biggs, Collin Spence, Haze Tucker, Zander Spence and Greyson Spence; his three nephews: Barry Tucker, Scott Tucker and Jeff Tucker and his niece, Susan Buffington. A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday June 17th at 11:00 A.M. in Bethany Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery, with full American Legion Post 79 Military Honors. The family will receive friends starting at 10:00 A.M. until service time in the church. Following the burial, there will be a meal for family and friends in the Bethany Baptist Church Social Hall.
