John Edgar Smith, 50 of LaCrosse, passed away October 4, 2026. John is survived by his parents, Charles Smith and Donna Riffle Smith; a daughter, Kasie Smith Iraggi (Jonathan) of Rocky Mt., VA; a sister, Chrissy Connell (Paul) of Madison Heights; two brothers, Charles Smith, Jr. (Tracey) of Branchville and Jerry Wayne Smith of South Hill; special uncle, Richard Dale “Bolo” Smith of Lunenburg,; Uncle, Tim Riffle of WV; aunt, Belinda Arbogast of WV; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Smith of LaCrosse, Mrs. Pearl Irene Honaker of WV and Mrs. Elaine Kinker of LaCrosse; uncles Steven Riffle and Jimmy Riffle both of WV. A memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M., Thursday, October 8, 2026 at Living Waters Ministries, 26393 Hwy 47, South Hill, VA. So sorry to hear of Johnny’s passing. My deepest sympathy to Charles & Donna and the rest of the family. I had a lot of good times with him throughout the years. He was just like part of my family. I know my dad Duck thought a lot of him and Kathy did too. Rest in Peace Johnny.
