Obituary:

George Allen Nash, Jr (Buddy) of Clarksville, VA was born April 19, 1943 in Roanoke Rapids and passed away August 23, 2023. He was a proud U.S. Marine Corps Veteran. He worked at Stroh’s Brewery for 25 years and went on to become owner of Nash Enterprises until he retired. He was a master welder and could repair or build just about anything. He loved fishing, hunting and was a competitive weightlifter for many years. He was an avid reader, loved crossword puzzles. And was steadfast in keeping up with current events and the news. He loved a good joke and classic country music.
He was a great thinker, funny, complicated, generous and kind-hearted. There will never be another one like Buddy. He is survived by his wife, Rose, his daughter, Lisa Nash and stepson Jeff Clary, step-grandchildren: Gage and Olivia Clary. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Blanche Nash; brother, Jimmy Nash and sister, Lucy Smith.
